Warranty & Guarantee

  • Statutory warranty (also known as “liability for defects”) is regulated by law and applies if a product has a defect at the time of delivery. For consumers, the standard period for new goods is 2 years from delivery.
  • A warranty is a voluntary additional service (from the manufacturer or retailer). It can freely define scope and duration and only applies if it is explicitly offered.

What counts as a defect—and what’s normal?

A defect is:

  • Breakage or material defects during intended use.
  • Obvious manufacturing defects that prevent function or installation.
  • Wrong item / missing parts (e.g., mounting hardware).

Not a defect is:

  • Slight visible layer lines or minimal visual differences that are normal with FDM 3D printing (applies to 3D-printed products).
  • Normal signs of wear from use (scratches, abrasion).
  • Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect cleaning, or use for unintended purposes.
